On June 8th, 2005, the Providence Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), in conjunction with the city of Providence, RI, conducted an emergency evacuation drill that simulated a chemical spill on Providence's waterfront. The TeamTracer® system, recently purchased by PEMA, played an important role in this drill, providing quick registration and ID generation to assist in tracking volunteers arriving at the scene.
